How I Wore My Heels: The Statement Sleeve

Today I’ve got going my  60s glam cam – I mean, goodness gracious. Every June, I forget that it takes my camera an extra 30 minutes to adjust to the (crazy!) humidity we (love?) so much down south. Sigh. But you know what? I kinda don’t mind the extra “filter,” if you will. Because look at these statement sleeves!

These doggone days of summer, you can guarantee that if I’m not in shorts, I’m wearing white jeans. (These are my favs because they’re cropped just perfectly for heels! Thank you, Hudson jeans.) So, I was ecstatic to find this cutesy-sleeved top from my new fav, super-duper cheap online shopping destination, SheIn.com. We’re talking a grand total of…drumroll…$13. Squeal!! Where has this site been all my life? Now, I can focus any and all major shopping money on (a) shoes and (b) kids. Wink.

But, really. It’s so easy to make a slight statement in a sleeve that’s different. That ALL it takes. A sleeve! To be different! And isn’t that the fun in getting dresses every morning? We want to put together an outfit that is different than the last day – and we want to have fun doing it, or at least I do. This trend excites me because it’s not going away for fall, so pick out all of your favorite sleeves (oh and gigantic sunglasses?) because we’re going to have fun with our fashion.
