Whiny Wednesday: Summer Sandals for the Kids
Be still my shoe-loving heart, y’all. If you think I love shoes, you should see my little one. Haha (can I get that shirt made, please?). I’ve long been a fan of Sanuk in my “downtime,” so aka chasing kids around, grocery shopping, pool hopping, sidewalk chalk drawing, and on and on. My Sanuk slip-ons are a go-to. And now little L. has the cutest sandals from the brand that we’re just squealing all over.
These “yoga” slingbacks have soles made from an actual yoga mat, so duh, that’s why we’re so obsessed. It’s all about comfort (ok, and cuteness) at this age. But truly, comfort is KEY. No matter how much a mama likes a pair of shoes, if little girl ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy. And ain’t nobody wearing them, basically. So…little L. loves how comfy these are and I can see why because just looking at them, and feeling them with my own hands, they def seem comfy as can be.
And the colors and patterns! Little L. loves purple so when they sent us a purple pair to test, she was bouncing off the walls. Although, I personally really dig the print. They’re even more gorgeous in person!
I will say the most challenging part was me having a blonde moment and trying to figure out exactly how to get them on her feet with the different straps (doh). But, once I did, it was a piece of cake. And I must admit, she found me very entertaining. Ahhh, what can I say. I’m good for a good laugh sometimes! Makes life with kids fun. 🙂
See ya around? xoxo
P.S. Her toes are none other than Piggy Paint (all the time!). This non-toxic nail polish was developed by a mama from Arkansas, so I’m pretty darn proud. Representin’.
