Carrie Underwood can do no wrong in my book (ever seen the meme of her American Idol tryout as a small-town girl asking how can I get this to happen to ME?). Who isn’t mesmerized by her charm? But not just her beauty, her southern goodness as well. She’s gorgeous and real at once – hello, can I get a huge hand clap here? Let’s also applaud these earrings she has going on from the CMT Awards in Nashville. Yes and please.

This is the first I’ve heard of Kimberly McDonald jewelry, so now it’s forever engrained in my brain. New earrings for moi? Um, ok! (Well, these are found at Bergdorf Goodman so probably not my price point, but hey, they’re a good savings waiting to happen.) We’re talking one-of-a-kind opal drops surrounded by signature irregular shaped and size diamonds set in 18K white gold. These are the kind of earrings that make accessories worth shopping for…worth wearing…worth completely hearting to pieces. You get my drift. What a way to make an entrance and totally frame the face.

Watch out drop earrings, I’m coming for ya…

P.S. Notice the matching rings? Aha! They are just as grand. The idea of a larger “ring cuff” thrills me. LOVE.
