How I Wore My Heels: Easterseals, The Fashion Event
It’s almost here! I’m really excited about the annual Easterseals event, The Fashion Event. It’s an amazing way to show support for such an awesome organization full of the most fun-loving, hard-working, inspiring adults and children. I can’t say enough kind words about the people who run the show and are a part of it. (Here’s my Fashion Event post from last year!)
What we do in this life shouldn’t be built around ourselves, but we should help others who need it. And I love how Easterseals works with local boutiques on this runway show to make it a fun night where people can donate their time and money to the cause.
What to Wear
It’s a fun excuse, too, to get all dressed up and have a good time. I bought this dress to wear from Beehive (it was only $65!) because I’m loving the choker neck trend right now. And the cobalt blue hue is one my favs – designers just don’t make it enough. While I do love the ruffle sleeves, the event is at night, so I’m planning on adding a moto jacket to the look along with glitter heels and my animal-print clutch.
There are still general admission tickets available for $50, so get yours now! You can visit the Easterseals site or their Facebook page. Boom Kinetic will play music, there will be yummy food (no really, it’s one of the best events for great food…no tiny snacks here), and both a live and silent auction. Plus, KARK’s Mallory Brooks and DJ Williams will be the emcees again, and I just adore them.
Get your choker neck dress ready and come have fun for an amazing cause. Their stories will touch you forever – I promise.
