Victorine: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week S/S 2012
Despite the pouring down rain in the city Wednesday night, I jetted across town from the Lucky Magazine FABB Conference to check out the debut of Victorine, held inside a swank penthouse residence in Tribeca. (I mean, Heather Graham was scheduled to show, so how could I not?) Designer Victorine Deych’s first ready-to-wear collection showed lots of color, and I liked!
It embodies her “lifelong admiration for the push and pull of color relationships framed by classical femininity.” The collection is a “dedication to the daring and fearless women who led her to this point in life.” My fav is the belted blue/purple frock just a few photos down. It evokes plenty of color, flatters the female form and the pop of purple against the blue is just stunning! Chicettes, you better watch this designer…
P.S. The nude heels are def a must with all of this color. A room full of chic, indeed.
