Brunch with UGG Australia
Friday afternoon, I was invited to a “hangover” brunch (since it was after Fashion’s Night Out) at the UGG Australia showroom atop a lovely Manhattan rooftop (gotta love those!). So nice, because while I do heart heels, my little feet had just about had it (especially after I took a wrong turn in Columbus Circle…tricky little area, hmph)! New IHH correspondent Sarah and I mingled over cocktails and brunch (sooo good since I skipped breakfast!) and scanned the new offerings by UGG, and WOW were we impressed! It’s amazing how the company started with one signature boot and has since expanded to so many styles, you can’t even tell they’re “UGGs” anymore.
I heart all of the wedges, especially, and those lined with the visible shearling around the top. They even have a new animal-print boot below that we were going nuts over (that trend certainly isn’t going away!). And did you know UGG carries outerwear as well? Makes sense, if you think about it. I personally have to have this big fluffy gray vest (below) in my closet for fall…I can’t stand the chicness. But, for now, my feet are happily recouping in the nice, plush pair of slippers Sarah and I were gifted by the team (I seriously wore them home on the plane). My feet say a very nice “thank you.” Until I put my heels on again…
