Fashion Week Festivities
One of my fav things about coming to New York for Fashion Week (besides the shows, obvi) is that there is never (I mean, never!), a lack of anything to do. And I usually book myself to the brim so that I can enjoy every last minute of it. Just the other night, I had the amazing opportunity to attend a Girl’s Night Out event sponsored by Glam Media and Qream. So. much. fun. After attending the Lucky Magazine FABB Conference all day long, I was very much in the mood for some pampering (ouch, my feet). A local nail salon hosted a gaggle of us bloggers for a night of mani/pedis, yummy nibbles (hello, sushi!) feather hair extensions (look at mine below…love!), baubles from Stella and Dot and, of course, cocktails. Let’s be honest, I don’t drink much these days, but I found this strawberry-flavored Qream cocktail (peach was also a flavor option) pretty tasty (and so pretty, right?). My night was just like any other Fashion Week night – ridiculously fun!
Fashion Week is so incredibly amazing, and it’s just begun this week! I’m always so thankful for events like this where I get to hang out with other bloggers and folks in the industry I don’t usually get to meet. Definitely fun times. You really can’t beat Fashion Week because you can always count on parties, pampering and lots of beautiful clothes. What more could a girl want, right? Ok, now back to Lincoln Center – oh, and, I have another pampering event at lunch today…I could get very used to this. Wink.
