Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: F/W 2013: Hervé Léger

The brand best known for its bandage silhouette (loved by celebrities such as Britney Spears, Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry) was more demure than daringly sexy during its recent F/W 2013 reveal in NYC. Inspired by the opulence of nature and artist duo Les Lalanne, designer Max Azria for Hervé Léger focused mostly on a dark color palette, mixing in the occasional pops of ivory and white. Muted animal prints combined with eye-catching details like intricate beading, embossed leather and plush fox fur were prevalent among the line’s iconic bandage detail — only more of it, as hardly any skin peeked through the stunning styles.

Front row attendees included fashion models Coco Rocha, Jessica Hart and Petra Nemcova.
