How I Wore My Heels: Independence Day
I realize it’s not truly Independence Day (aka the Fourth of July) until tomorrow, but I’m already wearing the red, white and blue proudly. I’m so proud to be an American, and feel so lucky to have such freedom. Since I can’t really imagine it any other way, I admit I often take it all for granted. I mean, it’s so easy, right? So in honor of our USA “holiday,” I found it necessary to sport a truly all-American outfit: classic chambray paired with pearls, red-hot skinny jeans, new “Poppy” wedges” and, drumroll, a leopard clutch. Ok, that last accessory isn’t exactly all-American, but accessories are made to be pure fun! (and I love leopard with RED) I hope you all have a nice mid-week break, and red, white and blue kisses to you! xo
Here how I wore my heels:
*Chambray shirt from J.Crew (a recent purchase from the J.Crew outlet mall I frequent during my beach vacay…yes, my vacay is usually part lounging, part shopping…shrug.)
*Red “Twiggy” skinny jeans gifted by James Jeans (these jeans are second skin, but I love that they make everything else you put on immediately look so sleek…but, um, a longer top is a must.)
*Leopard clutch from J.Crew (yup, same outlet trip! And I’m so proud of this: $20!! It’s buttery soft and has a chain strap as well. I’m in major love.)
*”Poppy” straw wedge gifted from online shop Fleur Chic (these are lightweight and an adorable summer shoe! The five-inch heel is for the true heel lover in us all, and, hello, the ankle strap is adjustable. Gotta love that in a shoe.)
