If you were looking for a burst of femininity from the fall 2012 shows (which took place back in February), you can always rely on Nanette Lepore for all things of that nature. Flirty silhouettes battled for attention while a robust palette of chartreuse, electric blue, blood orange and burgundy stole the show.
The style was a 70’s round-up of bohemian gypsies by way of Saturday Night Fever with all those metallic touches. Details of crafty beading, fur exteriors and burnout lace added an exciting edge to a collection full of whimsical, girlish finds that have made Nanette Lepore a fall wardrobe must.
