QVC at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York

Flashing lights…LIGHTS! And they sure were flashing! I couldn’t have kicked off this year’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York any better than by being at the QVC Spring 2012 show! Fun, flirty and super-CHIC basically sums up everything running through my mind as visions of pinks, purples, blues and reds floated down the runway.
Besides, who doesn’t already love QVC for being such a leading e-commerce retailer?! I know this girly certainly does, but now I have even more reasons to get excited. With new and fresh designers on board, QVC introduces an incredibly diverse array of fashions for all types of personalities. Some of these fabulous designers include: Camila Alves, Lisa Rinna, Lori Goldstein, Karen Zambos, Geren Ford, Cynthia Vincent, Issac Mizrahi, Marc Bouwer, Dennis Basso, Fern Mallis, Mark Zunino, the Kardashians AND…Nicole Richie! (yes, it debuts on QVC this week…so excited!)
The spring collection has everything from prim and dainty pieces to fierce and glamorous diva! I absolutely adore this royal blue jumpsuit…hot date anyone?! And how about this earthy bohemian look? I seriously can NOT wait to have my own runway show down the streets of New York with this fab collection! PLUS, I’m completely obsessed with all the long, flowy gowns. This season’s use of vibrant colors truly makes a bold statement – unbelievably breathtaking! QVC really raised the bar for spring – girlies, get excited, oh YES!
P.S. I wasn’t the only swooning fan in the crowd. Totally spotted the infamous Olsen twins, Maria Menounous, Olivia Palermo and Star Jones. My highlight of the night just might have been seeing the stunning designer herself, Camila Alves! (Sorry ladies, no Matthew McConaughey – sad face.)
