Cynthia Rowley: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week S/S 2012
Check out the video I shot on the Flip Cam! I’m seriously thinking about purchasing one of these little gems. It’s the perfect size and is super easy to use (which is always helpful when you’re trying to do 10 things at once during Fashion Week.)

Now, on to the show. To start, the runway was made of actual mirrors, which only amplified all the amazing metallics throughout the collection. And, the shoes were shiny gold booties (swoon!). Full skirts, patterned pants, and black-and-white mixed prints were trends for the spring collection. I love all the black, mixed with the usual bright and airy spring colors. Another fun touch? Models also donned sunglasses as they strutted down the runway. Cynthia stated that the mirrored sunglasses gave her new collection “a shot of moto-glam,” and she was totally right. There were a lot of mixed-pattern looks as well as a mixture of both athletic and feminine styles.
Sequins and appliqué were also apparent in her look, and I couldn’t be happier! Every fashionista needs sequins in her wardrobe. Cynthia loves the vibe that gold gives off (for which we, of course, totally agree), so that’s why you see so much of it in her latest collection. If you’re looking for something fun to mix up your spring/summer wardrobe, girlies, check out her collection. It’s a great mix of classic silhouettes and a little futuristic edgy sexiness – something that makes any woman look and feel amazing.
