Sorry I’ve been MIA over the weekend! Unfortch, no shopping trips to report, but my mother-in-law was in town and we had a lovely weekend (and now I have a brand-new SLR camera to boot!). I am so pumped!! I plan to use it for baby C., of course, but also for capturing NY Fashion Week next year and other great finds for I Heart Heels. The quality is amazing, and I wish I had had it in February when I was desperately trying to get one good shot from my little ol’ digital.
Today’s fashion? Sienna Miller, the prototype for amazing style. I’ve said again and again, I love her wardrobe. Let’s face it, most celebrities don’t know jack about how to put together an outfit – they rely on stylists and other folks in their entourage who know what they’re doing. But, Sienna is spotted on the street time after time doing her thing from her own inspiration. And it never gets old – in fact, she spawns so many trends! With her pup, Bess, on Friday she strolled the West Village carrying her Katherine Kwei Joyce Carry-All ($625) made of calf and lambskin. Katherine Kwei is actually a line I’ve been closely watching lately; it’s a fab handbag line created by the former PR guru at Louis Vuitton in Hong Kong/intern for Zac Posen. Katherine incorporates the technique of “Chinese knotting” she learned from her grandmother into most all of her designs and uses the most luxe in materials (hence the price). So stylish and unique, keep yours close because these bags never go unnoticed!
P.S. You can find this very bag at Saks Fifth Avenue in NY and Beverly Hills as well as Luna Boston.
