NY Fashion Week Spring 2010: Lacoste
Lacoste was filled with prepsters Saturday with Mischa Barton and Corbin Bleu perched front row. Simple, sporty chic is always the name of the game for this company, and the S/S 2010 season was no different. In fact, the opening of the show’s soundtrack started with the sound of tennis balls being whacked around a court – cute, no?
This year the Lacoste designs tend to mirror something slightly more sophisticated, transitioning any of the looks from day to night (well except maybe the cutesy bathing suits!). While I totally heart the black and white classics of the collection, I am dying over the blues, including this mini chambray shirt dress. Oy!!
The finale ended with a burst of yellow that reminded us spring is just around the corner and Lacoste will always be the go-to for sporty chic.
