NY Fashion Week Spring 2010: Pamella Roland
GORE-gous! That’s all I have to say about Pamella Roland‘s show yesterday. She never disappoints and I love how she can transform any woman into a complete goddess with her flirty, spring silhouettes and cheerful hues. Celebs love it, too. Everyone from Amanda Bynes and Lisa Rinna (doesn’t she look pretty in her red dress?) to Nicky Hilton and Toni Braxton showed for the red-carpet worthy performance.
Paul Labrecque did hair and Laura Mercier did make-up, and think it fit nicely with the collection. Nothing too dramatic, just sweet and simple like spring and summer!
None other than one of my fav artists of all-time, Georgia O’Keefe, served as muse for Pamella’s collection, and you can definitely see it in some of the floral designs. Simple and elegant, it was a mix of chiffons and florals, metallics and pale tweeds. Beaded gowns and beautiful cocktail frocks that we’re almost guaranteed to see on future red carpets.
