Whiny Wednesday: The Flutter Dress
Gosh, I love my little mini so much. What. A. Doll. I’m so amazed by how big my little L. has gotten. (She’s 3 and acts like she’s 13 sometimes. Ha.) But, just look at her in her Matilda Jane!
On Sundays, we wear our fun-loving, pretty, pretty dresses to church, and this flutter dress by Matilda Jane is absolutely amazing on her. I never realized how much I would like the longer length, but I’m crushing on it like whoa. And while I do adore the knit dresses she owns and runs around in so often, this cotton is a little fancier. Add a bow and oh my goodness – squeal!!
Sweet Flutter Sleeves
I’m an absolute sucker for a sweet flutter sleeve. It’s a good thing I don’t design kid’s clothing because they would ALL have flutter sleeves. Matilda Jane does a great job on the Courtyard Vines Flutter Dress by making it look sophisticated and sweet at the same time. And it doesn’t look a thing like most Matilda Jane dresses, which makes it a true standout. It’s truly one of a kind, and nothing like any of her other MJ pieces. I can imagine the other toddlers on the playground, “Is that Matilda Jane?” Haha.
The dress though. Runs true to size (she’s a 3T, so this is a 4 in MJ now – versus a 2 in her previous sizing). Looks great at church…on the playground…in an adirondack chair…playing hide and seek behind glow-in-the-dark bracelets. So versatile and so, so chic. Thank you again, Matilda Jane, for making little girls look classy!
