Giving Back: I Heart Heels and Kendra Scott Shopping Party
I’m so excited, I’m squealing! I know, again. My favorite jewelry store in town (that carries the drop earrings everyone is obsessed with?), Kendra Scott, invited me to take a quick store tour last week and it is gorgeous. (of course) What’s even better? (Sit down in your heels for this…) I’m hosting a Kendra Scott shopping party next month – and I want YOU to stop by and be a part of it! The Kendra Gives Back program is an amazing way to give back and I’m so happy to be involved.
When’s the Party?
I never dreamed I would be collaborating with one of my favorite brands, but as we all know dreams come true and well, it’s happening. On Tuesday, May 16 from 5-7 p.m., you can stop by the I Heart Heels + Kendra Gives Back shopping party at the Promenade at Chenal in west Little Rock (17711 Chenal Parkway) and enjoy sweet treats, drinks and, of course, lots of accessory shopping. Because that’s what we do best, right?
What’s Really Important
Here’s literally the best part. When you purchase something at my Kendra Scott shopping party, 20-percent of the proceeds will go towards CARTI, which is the ultimate place for cancer treatment in Little Rock, with top-notch specialists who treat all types of adults cancer and blood disorders. How do I know they’re so great? My mom relies on them.
I’m sure you know by now, but she has leukemia and has had it since I was in college. She’s recently had an additional form of cancer (hence the scarce blog posts lately), and I can’t thank the team at CARTI enough for their amazing work in helping my mom through the past nearly 15 years. That’s why I’m ecstatic to be able to help give back to CARTI with this party. What an amazing way to show how much we appreciate the brilliant, caring people who take care of cancer patients like my mom.
When you stop by the even to say hello (because I LOVE to meet my readers!), you’ll be able to shop the entire store, including the Color Bar, where you can actually design your own piece by choosing the metals and colors. I demoed it the other day and it is SO much fun.
I absolutely adore Kendra Scott and what she stands for with her company. What an amazing entrepreneur and a great example for working moms everywhere. Last year along, the company gave back more than $3.5 million and donated more than 75,000 pieces of jewelry to 3,500 local and national organizations. This year, their goal is to give $5 million – wow. Kendra is a woman who completely inspires me with her family, fashion business and, of course, philanthropy.
