Spring Cleaning with Molly Maid

It’s that time again. Spring cleaning! This week’s spring break for us, and instead of cleaning, we get to relax and have fun. Why? Because Molly Maid of Greater Little Rock came this week and cleaned the house, that’s why. (Insert gigantic sigh of relief here.)

Let’s get this straight. I have two little kids and I work full time. The minute I step my four-inch heels into the doorway after work, they scream let’s play! Thus, the messy house. And thus, a reason why I don’t have time to clean it. I want to actually spend time with them without always being buried in dirty socks. (mom truth)

I’ve actually overheard people scoff at others for having their house cleaned. And it bothers me to pieces. You shouldn’t have to be ashamed of having someone clean your house. These days we’re ALL busy – whether you are a working mom who works away from home, at home or just stays at home and takes care of the kids. I get it. Cleaning house takes time we don’t always have. But, I’ve been relying on Molly Maid for years now, so you can read some recaps of my cleanings over the years.

How Often Should You Call?

What I like to do is schedule a good thorough cleaning every few months. It really gets me back on track again and inspires me to keep it clean myself. But if you were one of those once-a-week clients, I would say have at it! No judging here. And psst…I’m jealous.

Every, single time I need my house revitalized, I use Molly Maid. And I don’t have to keep saying this time and time again. But the team is truly amazing at what they do. And when I come home from work and everything is sparkly and shiny, I feel like I have a new house again. It’s the most amazing feeling in the world. I’d compare it to a pair of new shiny pumps?

The team is prompt, and very easy to work with. I usually leave some organic cleaners for my kitchen and bathroom and they don’t have a problem using them one bit!

If there’s one thing I wish I could convey through this blog is the overall squeaky clean scent you get when you walk in the door. There’s nothing quite like it. A clean, uncluttered house instantly transforms your mind and declutters your brain as well. Have I convinced you to try it yet?
