I’m going to go ahead and tell you that it doesn’t matter what boots you have in your closet right now. There’s a sweet boot collaboration with model Gigi Hadid and shoe genius Stuart Weitzman that will blow your mind. It will literally rock your boot-loving world to pieces.
Gigi Hadid is complete amazingness when she does anything, so when I found out she was collaborating with one of my all-time fav shoe designers (remember this post with Stuart Weitzman and Man Repeller way back when?), I squealed a little (ok, a lot). Look, at this boot, y’all!
According to the release, Hadid was inspired by the brand’s stellar boot reputation, but used her creative vision to put a unique, personal spin on the lace-up bootie silhouette. Can you say street style at its finest?
Stacked heel – check. Bold metallic eyelets – check. Duo-toned laces that wrap around the ankle – check. It even comes in three materials for your style squad: croco-calf leather, or two different metallics in either iron specchio or copper glass. At $565 (metallic)-$598 (croco), it seems totally worth it. I mean, c’mon. It’s not every day you see a collab like this.
P.S. James Franco directed this short film called #doitright with Gigi as a boxer wearing the boots – and it’s inspired by Gigi’s real-life workout regimen. Who else is headed to gym to box like right now?
One more thing…this design is a celebration of the Stuart Weitzman partnership with Pencils of Promise, a financial commitment this fall 2016 season to build three schools: one each in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos. With a focus on creating quality elementary education programs within the rural regions of developing nations, the Stuart Weitzman and PoP partnership takes a step closer to the vision that every child has the basic right to education.
