Whiny Wednesday: Sweet Little Blessings
I promise I’ll have another actual product review up in the next couple of weeks. But, until then, I thought I’d just give a little update on little L. My REAL-LIFE Cabbage Patch Doll. No, really. She’s adorable, y’all.
She’s gonna be the big 2 in a couple of months, and I can’t believe it. With that being said, her fav word is (an emphatic) NO!! She hates riding home in the car from daycare…going to bed (although she generally sleeps all night…score)…and being away from her mama (she ruuuuuuns to me when I pick her up at daycare!).
She loves? (Can’t make this up…) Trying on shoes and skirts over and over. This does include my high heels of which I have to tell her she’s too little. She loves faux fur anything, and eating everything in front of her. Girl got my appetite for clothes and food, I’m telling you.
It’s so adorable how she is jabbering now and taking care of her dolls. She puts them to sleep – be still my heart.
(Can I also throw in that she’s already a potty pro? Thank you, Jesus! It’s gonna take time, but it’s good.)
I really never imagined I’d have two kids. I always wanted to move to NYC and just live alone, writing with my cats. But you know what? The wise old owl in me now tells me that family is everything and I can’t imagine living (my crazy!) life without these kids. They are what I look forward to every, single day.
little L and little C are nearly four years apart and different as night and day, but they are becoming friends more and more each day.
Sweet little blessings. I can’t wait to see what this year holds.
