Whiny Wednesday: Cutest Napper Ever
Now that the cat’s outta the bag, I can finally talk about how little L has started daycare. Insert sobs…tears…the incredibly ugly UGLY cry.
I’d be lying if I said it’s been easy. The routine? Actually not bad. She goes to a daycare that’s right en route to my workplace and we love, love, love it! In fact, I know it was God’s fate that there was a last-minute opening there. It’s one of the best daycares in the city and they rarely have an opening. The hard part? Leaving her. All. Day. Long.
I mean, the good part is, she’s 18 months old. I haven’t been used to staying home with her that long, compared to life with little C. But I will def miss being able to take her to the local gym to play or outings to the bookstore (or mall!) just mama and L. And I won’t be able to take naps with her during the day, which is a def downer for moi. Which leads me to…her nap mat!
Of course she has to be a fancypants and bring this nap mat Stephen Joseph sent over. It’s the cutest turtle and the softest. When she first saw it, she fell in love. For playing, that is. It’s my understanding from daycare that the first time she wouldn’t go down and had to be held. But I swear to you it wasn’t but the second day and she was on the mat…alone. For a nap. How. Do. They. Do. It? And with multiple babies!
Anywho, here is this adorable photo they sent me. Apparently she sleeps just like this with her arms up every day. I swoon all day looking at this. Presh-Us.
