Favorite New Dry Shampoo
I didn’t realize this entire time I was missing out on a dry shampoo that has been a bestseller for 40 years. I mean, seriously?! It’s lauded as the original dry shampoo, folks. You’ve gotta try the Klorane dry shampoo with oat milk ($20). It. Is. Amazing.
If ever there was a person who lives off dry shampoo, it’s moi. Not ashamed! It’s a beauty “trick” everyone must know and practice. It will truly save a busy person’s life, whether you’re a celebrity, a mom or an all-around hardworking chick. This dry shampoo has it going on.
Let’s face it. There are now zillions of dry shampoos and not all of them (in fact, I’m very picky about mine) make the cut. So what’s to love?
It’s got power. This can sprays with force. And I like that. It might not matter as far as effectiveness goes, but it truly feels good using it. I loathe a dry shampoo that’s wimpy.
It smells amazing. Honestly, there’s a very popular hair product out there that gets a great rep, but to me it smells just awful. It might work, but the scent has gotta go. It’s not pleasant and waaaay too strong. The Klorane scent is both nice and not too powerful. It just smells fresh. And ya kinda need that if you’re behind on washes. Wink.
Last? It truly WORKS. Kinda important, eh? I love that it’s natural and uses plant-based ingredients (another great benefit!), and it works in minutes. I truly feel like my hair looks cleaner right after I spray it. I spray it along my part on top, the back of my head at the roots, along the edges of my face where it gets oily, and on my bangs (they tend to get dirtier!). The oat milk version has been around forever and is for all hair types, but the nettle is formulated for oily hair. I might actually give that one a try next!
This week I’m getting a beloved blowout, and I plan to use this dry shampoo to get me through the week of millions of parties (yes, this mom still has a life) and extend my blowout!
Cheers to not having to wash our (long!) hair every day…whew. Such a lifesaver, indeed.
