Trimdown Thursday: My Pure Barre Results (& giveaway!)
Well here it is, y’all! I absolutely can’t believe it. It’s been a full 14 weeks since I started my baby bounceback with Pure Barre and I’m SOLD. You’ll never get a better, more intense, group workout that’s both fun with fast results like you will Pure Barre.
I started my journey April 1 and the last class in my package was Tuesday. But I’m not going anywhere! While I’ve lost over 40 pounds since I had baby L, I’ve still got 15 to go. (Insert bashful face here.) That means I’m not leaving the barre by any means! In fact, I’m slightly addicted to the whole lift, tone and burn thing. My legs are feeling ah-mazing. I’ve officially lost 20 pounds since I started Pure Barre a few months ago. But besides the weight, my body is shaped so much better…I see definition that makes me excited!
Here’s a little before shot and where I am today. I’m wearing a super-sweet Flutter Dress (in pink) from Au Lait, which just so happens to be the cutest shop with a very tightly edited, chic line-up of nursing wear that’s so completely classic. Love.
And while I have been wearing a lot of dresses (this dress didn’t even fit last month!), today I fit into a pair of my jeans (that weren’t boxy boyfriend). Such a good feeling. I must add that besides PB I’ve been watching my diet with Weight Watchers (they have a nursing moms program that adds points) and doing cardio on the side with brisk stroller walks and jogs around my neighborhood about four times per week.
I can’t thank the ladies at Pure Barre enough for all the instruction and encouragement they’ve provided me the past three months. They are just so awesome! So now, drumroll, please.
