Whiny Wednesday: The Sweetest Matilda Jane Giveaway
Now that I’m not just a boy mom, but a boy and girl mom (eek), I’m already so obsessed with really girly labels…and Matilda Jane is def one of them. No doubt! If money were no object, I’d fill baby L’s closet to the brim with these precious goodies. But the good thing is, every piece from MJ is so interchangeable, you mix and match the pieces you do have to your little heart’s content. Sweet!
Matilda Jane just released the spring collection It’s A Wonderful Parade, and I adore it. Even more than fall, and, girls, I didn’t know that would be possible. The whimsical nature and the rainbow of colors make me as happy as a mama in a candy store (and you know how that is). It screams fun times 1000, and even though my little one is too small to really enjoy herself, I can’t wait to put her in the two pieces sent to me – Campy Circle Skirt (retail: $38) and Merry Go Round Tank (retail: $30) – so everyone (including moi!) can ohhhhh and ahhhh over her all spring and summer long. In fact, our annual family beach vacay is just two short months away, and you bet this outfit’s going on the packing list.
When I first laid eyes on the circle skirt, I totally squealed. I mean, when something this cute is pint size for babies, you really can’t help it. The extra-full design is perfect for warm days and lets that diaper cover peek out. The waistband is knit, so it’s comfy, and the bright colors are just so much fun. It pairs perfectly with the simplicity of the Merry Go Round tank, which is something I’d totally rock myself! So springtime chic and I can see myself using this tank on baby L with everything…shorts, jean skirts (yep, she already owns one) or under a sweet ruffle cardi.
