Jay Godfrey’s Fall Collection: Effortlessly Edgy, Modern

Inspired by rock star progenies, Jay Godfrey’s fall 2014 fashion week presentation was effortlessly edgy and modern. I love the texture and print mixing throughout the collection as well as the burgundy wine, olive green and deep indigo colors highlighted throughout each look. I have an obsession with leather and Godfrey’s fall collection has plenty of vegan leathers that are to die for. Godfrey uses vibrant fringe, studs, zipper detailing and metallic sequins that are foundational throughout this collection that adds a classic rock ’n’ roll aesthetic.

I fell in love with the black vegan pony hair tuxedo suit. It’s definitely on my list of must-have pieces for the fall season.

Besides the stunning leathers, fringe, and snake prints that I was drooling over, Godfrey’s two little girls made a little debut to the collection. It looks like he may have some future models in the family. 😉
