How I Styled My Bump: ONE Last Time!
Oh hiiii…it’s me, you know. The nine-month-pregnant gal! 😉 If I seem like I have a lot of energy, it’s all a front. I don’t. This is the point in pregnancy where I start to drain…and with a 4-year-old toddler running around me, OMG, y’all. We’ve had freakishly crazy weather (the usual down south), so last week there was ice and this week it was 65 degrees. I sure have enjoyed the sunshine and walks around the neighborhood, but know it won’t last. I’m praying for a subdued February! With the warmer weather, I’ve whipped out all of my maternity dresses that I haven’t really gotten to enjoy being a winter pregnancy. It’s good to mix it up every now and then, and this dress from PinkBlush Maternity will also be great for postpartum cause it’s nursing friendly. I don’t have many chocolate brown pieces (which is a shame!), so I was happy to don something other than black this week. You know when I mean?
So basically this is my LAST outfit post until after baby, and I’m sort of bittersweet. I’ve really enjoyed posting these maternity shots, and hope to show you the professional ones I had made very soon. I also am thinking about putting together a collage of the outfits I’ve posted these past few months to document it all. I can’t believe I’m only a few weeks away…it’s both exciting and terrifying! Will I be able to balance this blog, a toddler and a baby (not to mention freelance and washing my air every now and then…)? Only time will tell, but I do know I’m going to be keeping lots of dry shampoo around because this girl is about to be TIRED. I complain, but it’s so worth it. I’m over the moon to meet my daughter (wow), my baby girl. And I know little C. is going to be the best big brother ever. Until we stylishly meet again (postpartum!)…
here’s how I styled my bump one last time:
*Brown 3/4 sleeve dress gifted by PinkBlush Maternity (I hate to admit this is a “belted” dress, but the belt will have to wait until postpartum…haha. The rayon material is very thin, so this will be great for spring/summer!)
*Chambray button down from J.Crew (outlet mall score! I just love wearing these during pregnancy unbuttoned…the best thing that fits the last month.)
*Suede Adalyn wedges gifted by Lacoste (You might think I’m crazy still wearing wedges, but these are honestly some of the comfiest I’ve tried…no joke. And they slip right on, which is a blessing these days. As long as there’s someone to help tie them….wink.)
*Brown Marilyn tote gifted by Avon (part of their brand-new signature collection, featuring Avon’s iconic 4A monogram with gold hardware. Can’t believe the brand/logo was founded in 1886!)
