Mamas to little girls…who doesn’t looooove Matilda Jane? Am I right? The minute I found out “it’s a girl!”, I knew I would be dressing her in these stylish duds. They’re so, so adorable and just plain fun. After all, mixing and matching makes fashion all the more fun, and I think the older the girls get the more they really love these pieces and being creative with them.
The pieces above are from Encore, the final release of the Paint by Numbers collection. When I opened the package sent to baby L., I squealed (duh). I admitedly have already bought her a few pieces at a local trunk show for summer, but these pieces will be for fall and they are just beyond. I literally gasped at the velour Miss Fancy Tank Dress (middle…$54). Mesh overlay…tulle waistband…velour bodice. They’re size six months, so come next fall, we’re going to have lots of fun playing dress-up!
On the right is the Old Gold Cardigan (also $54), and I’m really looking forward to seeing this on her. I think it will look great with this dress, but also everything else she’ll wear in the fall. I mean, can you imagine with skinny jeans and ballet flats?? eek! The embroidery is so pretty and unique. Last but not least, on the left are the Orion Tights ($14). I think matching tights to her dresses are going to be one of my fav things of all time. 🙂 There are so many cute ones, and they really make the entire outfit stand out. Love the midnight blue and how it coordinates with the blue in the cardi and tulle waistband!
Well, enough about my new fav outfit…I want you to be able to pick out one for your little Matilda Jane. Ready for a $50 gift card giveaway?? All you have to do is enter your info in the box below, and next week I’ll draw one winner at random to win it. Just in time for the holidays, natch. 😉 Good luck, chic mamas! xoxo
