Whiny Wednesday: Hop Hop
Oh my sweet, precious goodness, y’all. Sorry for my over-blogging of pink and frilly things…you had to have known it would happen once the ultrasound screamed PINK! Do you think I’m a little over-excited by the fact that I’ve picked out baby L’s entire Easter weekend attire? Hmph. Bear with me. We’ve still got three more months. 🙂
When I discovered the beyond sweet company Empress Arts, I was hooked. I could never look back! There are so many pieces on their site I just adore, and they’re all “special” pieces. You know, ones you really admire in the closet and save for special occasions like Easter. The dress above is the linen Flower Dress ($53), and when they offered to send it for baby L., I knew immediately this would be “the” Easter dress (although it’s 0-6 months, and I’m just praying she’s not too tiny!). If you’re looking for your own little girlie, this dress sizes all the way up to 4T, and let me tell you, it’s even more gorgeous in person. It’s so delicate and girly…I think the linen fabric makes it just so. Of course, the floral appliques on the bottom are what truly sets it apart. It is just darling, as we say down south.
But…we won’t want to keep her fancy all weekend (and in case the dress is too big at two months), we’ve got this completely omg-worthy Hop Hop romper (which sizes all the way to 18 months, cuties). Aren’t you just so gaga over it?!? (excuse the baby pun) The lil’ “hop hop” pocket with the bunny ears and tail is just adorable, and I’m always a sucker for polka dots. The greatest thing about this outfit is it’s both major CUTE and practical, as babies live in these types of rompers versus the special occasion dress above.
So, we have the best of both worlds here and I can’t thank Empress Arts enough for making baby L. dazzling come spring! Dressed up or down, she’ll be such a sweet, little thing. xoxo
