Lauren Conrad in Citizens Skinnies

If you’ve been reading I Heart Heels since the beginning, you know I’ve always been a fan of LC – aka Lauren Conrad. Last year about this time, I saw her speak at the LuckyFABB Conference in New York, and she’s just as cutesy in person (so fresh faced!). I love her style, and even her own collections she’s launched here and there. I know she began in reality TV, but doesn’t she seem so personable and real like the rest of us? She truly has a style I think any of us could mirror, and I love that. 

A couple of weeks ago she was in L.A. for the launch of The Little Market at the Citizens of Humanity Concept Shop, and she wore these ultra low rise skinnies – the “Racer” – in the Gaze wash. The jeans retail for $188 and you can purchase them here. I really love how she wore them with black and then added a pop of something with those shoes – squeal! Animal print is never going out of style. 

Before I became pregnant I was a huge fan of skinnies because you can wear them with nearly any shoe! I can’t wait to get back in mine, but considering I’m seven months pregnant that might just be awhile. And I don’t mind. I’m actually relishing the fact that I can have a “tummy panel” in my very own Citizens of Humanity maternity jeans! They’re skinnies, mind you, just a liiiiiittle different. 😉 Dear Racer, I’ve got my eye on you come spring. xoxo
