Whiny Wednesday: Coming Home PJs

 
Happy (Whiny!) Wednesday, girlies! This column will bring on a whole new meaning to me soon as I have my new lil’ whiny one in just four short months. 🙂 For now, let me whine for just a second and say this week I got very upset when someone downplayed my excitement over the new baby – gender, in particular – and complained about how much I’ve been talking about it, linking to it, etc. I mean, can you believe?! Eye roll. So here you are, dear negative Nancy:

I’M HAVING A BABY GIRL AND I’M PRETTY DARN EXCITED!!!!!!!

Now…moving on. 🙂 

I’m also waaaaaay exciting (squealing actually) over this luxe (matching!) PJ set I’ve received from Belabumbum. Isn’t it everything? Everything a new mom could want, for sure. I actually received it before I knew the gender, and now that I know I’m having a girl it’s just too much! baby L. will be wearing this adorable polka-dot number home from the hospital with me (complete with the crochet bow hat I’m still searching for…ideas on colors here?). But besides being excited about her outfit, I’m excited about mine because for one, I love the colors and the dots, but also I love the girly trim that crisscrosses in front to make it breastfeeding friendly. The sleeves are perfect for a winter delivery, and the soft, high-quality fabric will be something I’m certain to have around those first few weeks. (to say I’ll live in it, might just be the truth…blush)

Belabumbum is a very well-known brand celebs adore, and I’m honored to be able to wear it home come February. (Just like me to already pick out our coming home outfits though, right?) I mean, who can resist matching mom and baby PJs…with polka dots. SQUEAL! I’m excited and certainly not gonna hide it.
