Fashion Week is In the Air!

As invites begin to pour in for next month’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, the fashion industry begins to prep and a buzz builds in the air. Ahhh…by now I would’ve booked all of my travel and be squealing with glee, but instead I’m squealing for this lil’ baby I’m baking and for now New York will have to wait. So instead, in honor of Throwback Thursday, I began pouring over my photos from last September (which only made my heart heavier, by the way) and realized how many amazing pieces were made this past Spring/Summer and how many designers I met (Nicole Miller one-on-one…hello, dream!). WOW. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for fall, even though it will be via livestream for me…BUT…as always, our I Heart Heels fashion week correspondent, Sarah Kleinhenz, will be covering shows directly on the Lincoln Center scene (it’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it, eh?).

Think Rebecca Minkoff…Nicole Miller…Lacoste…and soooo many more! I can’t wait for you to see all of the coverage. We’ll just live vicariously through SK in a few weeks, won’t we? 🙂 And next September? Look out!
