I just want to shout it from the rooftops: I LOVE ALICE + OLIVIA! I mean, Stacey Bendet gets it right e-v-e-r-y season. I fall more in love with this line by the minute. So you can imagine how happy I was when I got to attend the brand’s fall 2013 presentation for I Heart Heels. First off, I really enjoy the presentation aspect of previews. You’re able to get up close and personal with the clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. Don’t get me wrong, I love runway shows, but just enjoy seeing the details of the designs.
For fall, more is definitely more! Patterns, texture and embellishments are just a few of the design features Stacey uses to create these magical, ethereal (and a bit edgier!) looks. Black is major for this Fantasy Street Style collection, but don’t let that fool you or turn you off.The way she uses black, whether it‘s with leather, lace or fur, turns out to be the most romantic and sophisticated look possible. I mean, who would have thought you could make leather look so feminine?
Another drop–dead look was the floor-length navy flower patterned skirt. It‘s by far my favorite piece from her collection. Oh, and fur bombers were also at the top of my list while walking around the presentation. a+o has added bags to their line and boy are they fabulous! EEK! And, of course, we can’t forget the shoes!! HELLO?! From knee–high boots (Stacey’s trademark shoe), to heels featuring faces with sunglasses on them, to embellished ankle–strap pumps, you‘ll look put together for fall!
I always know that every season Stacey will knock it out of the park. She’s become such a staple in most every women’s closet. It’s like she can read our minds and knows exactly that we want and need each season. I can‘t wait for this line to hit stores. My wish list has been made and I can‘t wait to get my hands on this amazing collection.
