Hot Heels from Alexandre Birman
Classy, classy feet. Your feet are pretty much guaranteed those double takes in a pair of these Alexandre Birman heels. Wowwwwwee. I own a pair of AB wedges I wear in the spring/summer and every time I wear them, I get those shoe looks. You know them. Where did she get those? looks.
Of course, Alexandre Birman is known for impeccable quality and luxury in a shoe, and since I was sent their pre-fall lookbook for this year, I just had to show you a few of my favorites. Remember, the pointy-toe, single-sole memo whatever you do. (well, you know when you’re not bouncing around in your sneaker wedges…wink) Ribbon and bow detailing is so completely femme as is the ankle strap. I used to not be a fan of the ankle strap, but over the last few years have totally embraced it. It makes me feel so girly, and having something on my ankle is just as fun as decorating my wrist with a bracelet.
The varying textures and degrees of animal print on this heel below is my all-time favorite. Sex appeal 101, right? I can’t take my eyes off this shoe, and if you can, I’ll be very surprised. Sure these would look great dressed up, but I’m imagining all the impossibly chic ways these stunners could dress up a pair of jeans (since I have a bazillion in my closet). Meanwhile, the last pair here is embellished to the max. Sure, everyone’s done studs but these are so unique and I’ve never seen them done so well on such a feminine shoe silhouette. My heart’s racing for these and a chance to own a pair. Only time will tell. My mantra: just one more pair…
