Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: Carlos Miele
The spring/summer collection from Carlos Miele was marked by feminine and flowy silhouettes in bold colors and patterns. The ubiquitous saffron yellow that showed up everywhere during fashion week was a highlight of this show especially when it was paired with other vivid colors such as lime green and turquoise.
Refusing to be timid, animal print was another standout in CM’s designs. By mixing tigers and leopard (often in the same outfit), this collection seemed to ask onlookers to consider this timeless pattern as less of a statement and more of a neutral element that has a place in everyone’s closet. Animal print’s totally the new black, no?
While this collection used prominent colors and patterns (without a doubt), I was pleasantly surprised at the everyday wearability of it all. Wide-legged pants, turquoise studded belts, fitted blouses, purses with long leather fringe, maxis with flowing sheer overlays: every look incorporated something that any woman could wear with confidence.

I could watch Scrdinleh’s List and still be happy after reading this.
