alice + olivia and MAGNUM Ice Cream Unveil Two Mini Skirts
I couldn’t resist telling you about the cutest collab I’ve seen in quite awhile…it makes perfect sense! Sugary-sweet brand alice + olivia has partnered with MAGNUM Ice Cream to create two mini skirts…the “classic” and the “almond” available in stores and online this week! (watch this video)
Stacey Bendet designed the skirts off of the MAGNUM mini ice cream bars and they will each retail for $396 (slightly more than an ice cream bar, but ya know…cost per wear, folks. Is it wrong I would wear these to the mailbox?).
- The “classic” inspired mini skirt is made with a silk and lace base with sequin and bead embellishment
- The “almond” inspired is made with a power mesh base with sequin and chain embellishment
The mini skirts were shown at the recent spring presentation, and ice cream was had by all (right, Sarah?! ‘fess up!), including celebs like Kelly Bensimon.
I’ll take both the mini skirts and the ice cream, please. You only live once.
P.S. I’m honored we were asked to be a part of a video the two brands were making recently. But alas, I had just left New York. Huge le sigh right there…
