Julie Benz, What She Wore on Her Wedding Day
Ok, maybe I’m getting all weepy and sappy because my (seven-year…holla!) wedding anniversary is approaching in a couple of weeks (and we’ll return to the very spot on the beach pier I walked down…squeal!!!), but I just looooved everything Julie Benz wore for her wedding last month, so I had to show you. It’s all by the label THEIA – and the gown is from the spring bridal collection. The strapless “raw edge” organza gown ($1495, slight gasp!) is class and gorgeous – I mean, am I right? My gown was very similar in that it was strapless and had layers at the bottom just like this one, but I love the lightweight look of the organza here – so airy and springlike! We Julie’s do know how to pick a dress…
And her bridesmaids also wore THEIA (duh) – custom rhodium crunchy (sequin!) cap sleeve gowns. Hello, insert glam factor now. Sequin bridesmaid gowns, count me in. (although, I don’t do cap sleeves, so she wouldn’t have been happy with me…)
At the reception, Julie looked beyond adorably cute. Beyond! (Making a mental note now to get my side bangs back in order, stat.) She wore a THEIA (!) strapless organza cocktail gown ($795, available at bloomingdales.com) with a flower applique hem. That hem is the selling point here – love. it. If I had seen this little number seven years ago, it would’ve been my reception dress. Right, mom??
