LuxeStyle Launches in L.A.
By Rebecca Raskind, Guest Blogger
E! host Giuliana Rancic hosted a major L.A. fete last week to celebrate the launch of LuxeStyle by LuxeYard. Brooke Burns (who told us she loves being a mom so much!), Jillian Barberie of Good Day LA, and Cassie Scerbo of Make It or Break It also rocked their heels at the event that was just as the name sounds: luxe and stylish! Held at Hollywood’s The Library at Redbury Hotel, and sponsored by Ciroc and funkin‘, Hollywood’s premiere fashionistas were eager to talk about the newest online flash sale site, LuxeStyle!
Daniella Clarke, creator of Frankie B jeans and LuxeStyle’s style consultant, explained that LuxeStyle is different from other flash sale sites because it’s a “boutique experience” with a “curated collection.” Boasting everything from local lines like Petro Zillia to vintage Oscar de la Renta, LuxeStyle has a little of something for everybody.
Another aspect that sets this brand apart is the interactive model and user-generated content. Specifically, you can pin items you covet to the site and once enough interest is generated, LuxeStyle’s buyers will find that item (or something similar) to feature on the site. (Enter their Pinterest contest now!) LuxeStyle is currently open to members only, so you’ll have to sign up on the site to start shopping (I signed up as soon as I got home that night!)
P.S. Other guests of the night? Debbie Matenopoulos from The Insider, Colin Owens of Secret Life of the American Teenager, socialites Faye Resnick and Allison Melnick, and professional matchmaker Steve Ward of VH1’s Tough Love.
Current LuxeStyle trendsetters include Daniella Clarke, Jonathan Shokrian and Nony Tochterman.
