I’ve always been a huge fan of Chrissie Miller’s t-shirt line SOPHOMORE (Chloë Sevigny, Cory Kennedy and Alexandra Richards are fans as well!), so with only a couple more days left of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, I just had to let you know about this awesome collab with Kmart. #FashionWeekProblems. Omigosh, I LOVE it! Check out the limited-edition tee above inspired, of course, by the frenzy of fashion week (glad this has never been one of my fashion week problems!). You can pick up one of these shirts in you’re in New York at SOPHOMORE’s 143 Ludlow Street store (it’s a gift with purchase – and there are limited quantities, so hurry!).
“The t-shirt design came about from this idea of #FashionWeekProblems. Who hasn’t had a major shoe emergency on their way to a show or party? A broken heel is every girl’s nightmare!” –Chrissie Miller, creative director, SOPHOMORE
And for the third season, the Kmart Concierge has been allllll around Lincoln Center helping bloggers and editors solve their fashion crisis. No tights? Need flats for those tired feet? They’re seriously to the rescue…just tweet @KmartFashion with the unique hashtag #fashionweekproblems, and your wish is their command. I’ve witnessed it many, many times this week on Twitter – and it’s amazing! (and, of course, the concierge girls are wearing this tee)
The SOPHOMORE partnership is a natural extension of Kmart Fashion’s ongoing Money Can’t Buy Style campaign, embracing personal style at all price points. Money Can’t Buy Style celebrates individuality and personal self-expression, focusing on the individual fashionista who sets her own trends. I think it’s so, very cool what Kmart’s doing with fashion these days – what about you?
