Lorena Sarbu: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week F/W 2012
With it being her first fashion week presentation EVER, excitement was in the air at Lorena Sarbu this past Sunday as she presented her fall/winter 2012 collection at Lincoln Center’s The Box (a smaller, presentation-style venue rather than runway show).
I’m a new fan of the designer since recently discovering her work on the red carpet at so many awards shows lately (check out the P.S. below!). Lorena’s eveningwear is all-around stunning, and it has just the right balance of edge and sex appeal. A red leather cocktail dress, a cobalt blue sequin one-shoulder gown and an eye-catching embellished red strapless dress. Pretty sure Lorena’s the next big thing to hit Hollywood – her designs are showstopping.
P.S. Carrie Underwood wore Lorena Sarbu (pre-fall) to a Grammy reception just this week! SO cute.
Oh and Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! You should totally wear a red dress like these to dinner tonight. xoxo
