Kate Middleton in Green Diane von Furstenberg
Everyone’s been following Kate Middleton and her fashion statements lately, so I couldn’t help but discuss my favorite. She’s obviously a huge fan of designers like Jenny Packham (hello, my front-row-seat at this year’s Fashion Week might be slim to none), Alexander McQueen (who designed her wedding dress) and Temperley London. But, for one particular occasion while in L.A. she chose a bright-green frock by Diane von Furstenberg, which I thought was completely appropriate and just brilliant. The color is gorgeous, but I also love the sleeves, the front tie and the way it drapes. Totally fit for a princess. And I wouldn’t mind wearing it either. Swoon.
P.S. Diane von Furstenberg is the keynote speaker at the Lucky Magazine FABB conference for bloggers in a couple of months and I’m dyyyyying to go. Wouldn’t that be a once-in-a-lifetime experience? Problem is, it’s a few days before Fashion Week, sigh…what’s a girl to do? Itinerary change, perhaps…
