How I Wore My Heels…Wedding Anniversary
I can hardly believe it, but D. and I celebrated our six-year wedding anniversary this past week while vacationing at the beach. Ahhhh…yes, it was as blissful as it sounds. Six years ago we walked barefoot on the beach down the aisle during sunset!
We went to dinner at the same place we had our wedding reception, a really nice Italian restaurant (let’s pause for a song…any Billy Joel fans?), and it couldn’t have been more lovely. Oysters and pasta – and yes, heels. Obviously I took this photo once I returned (don’t judge) because at the time, I was way too busy to snap any (good) photos as we were running out the door to dinner.
Yep, this outfit’s quite simple, but I like to err on the side of classic sophistication, especially when celebrating six years of wedded bliss. Wink, wink.
Here’s how I wore my heels:
* Silk dress by Rebecca Taylor (I found this while at the beach on a shopping spree and it was only $50…I mean, seriously?! Insert tons of squeals here.)
* Silver bangles from fav local store, Masons (I don’t wear these much because they’re slightly noisy, but I do love them!)
* Brown cutout heels gifted by ShoeDazzle (I scooped up this pair via stylist friend Robert Verdi’s team…he has awesome Twitter parties, did you know? They zip up the back and look way more expensive than $40, no?)
