If you’re a mom, it’s likely you’ve heard of pediped footwear. And if you haven’t, I’m here to to tell you to rejoice! It’s a mom’s new favorite shoe – for serious. Little C. is pretty darn squirmy these days and at first I had problems getting him to put on shoes at all – so even as temperatures dropped I looked like a “bad mom” as he wore his socks out in public, haha. (I told you he loved his last pair of tennis shoes, too, so I was surprised to find yet another pair he loves!) It was love at first step for little C. (by the way, you know that’s his “big boy” name now, right? No more “baby C.” – sob!!) Once I put these on him, he went to town walking all over the place. He did examine them first, of course, which was soooo freaking cute. It was like, hmph, I’ve got new shoes!
What I loved was that it was so painless getting them on him. I’ve learned: Velcro is a must (shoelaces work, but aren’t as easy); a flexible upper/tongue is amazing (it was a cinch getting them on because the upper portion pulls back so far); soft soles are the best for little feet (good for the feet and easy for them to walk in). Oh, and the sneaker style is just irresistibly cute. little C. looks like a British rocker with his mop of curly hair, skinny cords and tennis shoes. I’m in love! (By the way, he was sent the Josh style, $32).
