Whiny Wednesday: HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY C.!!!

Ok, don’t get TOO excited. It’s not baby C.’s FIRST BIRTHDAY (squeal!) until Friday. But since it’s Whiny Wednesday here at I Heart Heels, today is our birthday edition – drumroll, please. My, oh my, what a year it’s been. In more ways than one – haha! (All you moms are laughing with me because you know.) Throughout this year, baby C. has been the biggest blessing so far of my life – wow, he’s sweet! I never thought I could become so attached to that little guy, and yet, I can barely go to the grocery store nowadays without rushing home to play with him. Sigh…

He has six teeth, bundles of little curls on the back of his head, chubby feet and bright blue eyes that just make his mama m-e-l-t. Swoon. His little giggle just sends me over the edge – too cute. This week, we’re changing to a new car seat, switching to the cup, flipping the mattress, and well, starting “toddlerville.” How has baby C. grown up so fast?? Next year, he won’t be baby C., obvi, so I’m gonna need some nickname suggestions. Comment below and let me know. (I’ll read them with tears…)

On a lighter note, his party is this weekend and it’s a giraffe theme (he was a giraffe for Halloween and the photo of him in his costume is the photo we used on the invitation! So, nope, that’s not him above!). I ordered the invites from Tiny Prints, which is where I ordered his birth announcements. I want to let you know that once again the process was seamless. I don’t ever do Christmas cards, stationery, etc., and they are so good they make me wanna start printing left and right, haha. I did end up buying the matching “thank you” cards and return address labels because of this experience. If you love them, it’s called “Goofy Giraffe.” 🙂
