Whiny Wednesday: A Beautiful Nursery
Ah, I look back and it was a year ago this weekend when I was attending my shower for baby C. Time sure flies, no? I remember wanting his nursery to be just perfect and came home from the shower and that SAME night unpacked and put away every little thing, and then wrote all of my thank you notes. Sounds crazy, I know, but I wanted everything to be ready for baby C.’s arrival – and I was SO excited. One of my registries was Restoration Hardware Baby & Child, and I knew day one it would be after browsing through a catalog I received in the mail. The most beautiful pieces ever! (Tons of baby C.’s room decor is from there – from the striped crib skirt to the star-studded toddler quilt I bought way ahead of time because I loved so much, lol.)
The photo here shows the newest crib arrival – the Antique Spindle Crib (in aged white; $699). I debated on white or brown forever, but really think this pretty, soft white would be precious in a little girl’s room, don’t you? The weathered look reminds me of everything I love about our beach house each summer. Handcrafted of American hardwood, this collection is so sweetly chic. Add it to your registry, perhaps?
P.S. The fixed side rails, although cumbersome at times, are a must these days for safety. And the crib converts to a toddler bed, another must, in my opinion!
