Whiny Wednesday: Aden + Anais
As we like to say (a lot!) lately in our house, iiiit’s swaddle time! The minute baby C. starts to get cranky we reach for the ol’ swaddling blanket because at 8 weeks, if he’s not hungry, he’s inevitably sleepy. And when he’s swaddled, let me tell you, it makes a world of a difference (he actually takes great naps in his crib!). Daddy has swaddling down to a tee, but mama (that’s me) still needs a bit of practice (I always feel like I’m going to hurt the little one!). For the past couple of weeks, we’ve been using the swaddling blankets sent to us by Aden + Anais, the Little Man swaddle collection (4-pack, $44), to be precise. These blankets are cotton muslin (much like you might find in the hospital), so they’re very breathable, which I love because I don’t want baby C. to overheat (he’s already so hot-natured!). Plus, the more you use them, the softer they get. I also love how large they are, so there is plenty of fabric to wrap around baby. Don’t you love the cute little blue and brown camo, stars and swirly patterns in this collection?
P.S. Also, check out these burpy bibs from the Prince Charming collection (2-pack, $19.95). They’re made of the same cotton muslin – and aren’t they beautiful?!
