Mad for Plaid

This fall, we’re seeing lots of plaid! So, what do you think? I’ve actually relished the fact of being “on trend” and comfy at the same time, although you do have to be careful in how you wear the tricky print. Because it’s still considered a print (although more subdued than some), go with the “less is more” strategy. Pair it with other neutrals in the same color pattern like Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Biel like to do. 


My favorites? These plaid tunics by Sunner (now at Bloomingdale‘s for $155), a line favored by celebs and stylist Rachel Zoe. The great thing about a tunic (besides the fact that these have adorable ruffles!) is you can pair them with your favorite skinny jeans (or denim leggings!), or wear the tunic as a dress with leggings and knee high boots.
