NY Fashion Week Spring 2010: Paola Hernandez
“Paola Hernandez, Mexico City-born designer, presented a fabulously unique collection at The Inn at Irving Place where models posed inside different rooms within the Inn, situated upstairs. It was a very creative concept that kept visitors wondering what was next! As if I had stepped into a movie, I spied models with wild hair, deep-smudged gray eye shadow, and pale lips while sipping tea, indulging in a novel or playing an intense game of chess. The subdued colors ranged from gray, black and white – and I loved the oversized button accents, ruffled socks, bow ties and saddle shoes! The line is totally wearable and each piece can be mixed and matched perfectly.”
