Ginnifer Goodwin Towers Tall in YSL
Many of us haven’t been too blessed in the height department (me included – I’m only 5’6″!), so we must do all we can to “heighten” ourselves a bit, right? Turns out Ginnifer Goodwin‘s only 5’6″ herself, so when she showed up at the Metropolitan Opera gala, she wore towering YSL platform shoes (of which her printed strapless gown (YSL too, natch) covered). Style Tip: The taller the shoe, the more flattering (aka slimming) the look. Just remember to keep the shoe classy.
The dress completely flattered her figure (all the ruffles hit in the right spots!) and I love the way she styled her jewelry (bare on the collarbone, lots of bangles and dangly earrings) – perfect! Her short bob looked amazing while showing off a little skin. And it’s proof you can show some skin if you do it tastefully. We may not be at the opera, but we’re giving our applause!

Five six is tall. Ginnifer Goodwin doesn't need heels.

Not blessed in the height department? Since when are taller girls more blessed than smaller girls? What's blessed is having all your limbs working and being able to walk, and actually, just simply being happy with what you have been blessed with personally and not comparing yourself to others. And yes, 5.6 is tall for a girl…unless you're looking to compare to guys' height!

Thanks for your words of wisdom, Anonymous! I agree that I am truly blessed beyond words. Sometimes I wish I were taller, but we all have those days, right? 😉
