Sneak Peek: Cole Haan Fall 2010 (Countryside Chic)

Cole Haan‘s Fall 2010 collection is best defined as practical luxury. The collection consists of two individually-inspired groups. One group with a nostalgic country feel of falling leaves and autumn chill and the other sleek like the city with a subtle sexiness and pieces that can go from day to night in a New York minute!
The shoes and handbags are exactly what you want. Flat boots with a little flare, heels with a little stability and a few pieces in between that will just make you feel fabulous.
My Faves:
Cole Haan will be doing what Cole Haan does best and that’s delivering delicious boots. The kind you have to buy in early August because you are so excited for new footwear for the upcoming season. So naturally my faves were boots.
Air Tantivy Short Flat Boot: A feminine twist on the motorcycle boot is an easy winner. The “tantivy” detailed hardware is a signature throughout the collection that gives many of the pieces a super luxe look.
For “fave boot,” it’s a tie because one is a little country and the other rock ‘n’ roll, well it’s really more pop rock. What in the Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus is a girl to do?! BOTH, obviously. And here they are!
Stud Boot from the Maria Sharapova Collection: This baby speaks for herself. It’s the silhouette of one of the best flat black boots ever and then it has micro studs to accentuate the over-the-knee-ness. LOVE.
Air Chatam OTK Boot: This perfect over-the-knee riding boot doubles, as in double down, fold it to “knee height” and display a gorgeous herringbone trim. Simply stunning.
