How I Wore My Heels…in Central Park
Yep, I get it. You don’t usually wear heels in Central Park (judging by the amount of pedi-cabs that tried to pounce on me…did I look in pain??), but I was coming from the Tracy Reese runway show, and about to catch a flight. I had been dyyying to hang out in the park all week (even though our hotel was a mere block away, there never seemed to be time!). So…looking like a true tourist, D. snapped my photo in the park in our last few moments in the city. Sigh…until next time, New York.
Here’s how I wore my heels:
Mocha cowl-neck sweater by BCBG Max Azria (one of my Fashion Week finds..a girl’s gotta have new duds, right? I live in this now!)
Black tank underneath by Yummie Tummie (a best investment – great tummy control!)
Black jeggings gifted by Citizens of Humanity (you’ve heard me say it…best jeggings ev-er.)
Black/gold chandelier earrings from Masons (a fav local store!)
Black sunglasses from Scarlet (another fav local store…)
Camel booties by Forever (ok, these win the “most compliments” award. From the streets of Manhattan to the plane home, everyone loved these! Psst…they were $20 at TJ Maxx by a brand I had never heard of, lol.)
P.S. I’m also wearing my new Silly Bandz from the tents. I went CRAZY over these, courtesy of Starbucks (our waitress in Greenwich Village told me they were “high quality” ones, ha!). In the shapes of a heart, a Frappuccino bottle and, get this, high heels! Squeal!!!! (I wanted the whole jar, but politely took two, thank you.)
